The much anticipated Beach Blanket Babylon Shoreditch restaurant & bar has finally opened its doors to East London, situated on the very fashionable Shoreditch end of Bethnal Green Road. Beach Blanket Babylon Shoreditch houses a stylish restaurant and cocktail bar, roof terrace, contemporary art gallery, private members lounge and outdoor cinema and is the latest addition to a new breed of high-end restaurants & bars that have decided to make Shoreditch their new home. Beach Blanket Babylon's chic new restaurant, headed up by award-winning chef Rex Newmark, serves stunning Modern European cuisine from a large, open-plan kitchen & includes dishes such as: seared scallops with honey roasted butternut squash & truffle oil puree; British cider mussels with fries; thyme, lemon & parmesan risotto with red chard salad & herb crusted rack of lamb with potato dauphinoise, sauté curly kale, mint vinaigrette & rosemary jus. After dinner, guests are invited to use the glamorous old style cage lift to take them into the downstairs cocktail area, where a large central, marble bar offers an array of tempting wines, spirits & cocktails. Beach Blanket Babylon Shoreditch looks set to be as popular as it's West London counterpart & it's easy to see why.
