Combining classic Opera with French fine dining, Bel Canto is an exciting London restaurant based in the Corus Hotel in Lancaster Gate. Just like it’s famous sister restaurant in Paris, Bel Canto is a fantastic dining experience, where diners are not only treated to some of the finest French food around, but can also enjoy live opera songs sung by the waiting staff, all whom are students of the capital’s local music schools and opera houses. Waiters perform arias from the likes of Verdi, Mozart, Puccini and more whilst you dine on fine French food. Choose from a selection of set menus where you could be starting with Scottish smoked salmon and dill with crème fraiche on blinis or foie gras medallions on brioche with plum chutney followed by beef fillet with mushroom sauce or slowly braised lamb shank with red pot sauce and finishing with a chocolate fondant or crème brulée. The wine list is excellent and equals the quality of the food easily. At £35.00 for the most economic menu, prices don’t come cheap, but if you want a dining experience like no other and quality all the way then a visit to the Bel Canto restaurant should be top of your list of things to do.
