Formerly known as The Zetter Restaurant, the fabulous Bistrot Bruno Loubet takes pride of place on the ground floor of the funky Zetter Hotel in London’s Clerkenwell. After spending 8 years in Australia, where he won numerous culinary accolades, the great Bruno Loubet has returned to London to offer his modern take on classic French bistro cuisine. The dining room is spacious, bright and full of light thanks to the floor to ceiling windows which look out onto St John’s Square outside. There is a charming terrace on the square too, perfect for summer al fresco dining. Open from breakfast through to lunch and dinner and for brunch at the weekends, Bistrot Bruno Loubet offers something for everyone and attracts a mixed bag of clientele from hotel guests to local business folk and neighbouring residents who tuck into dishes such as guinea fowl boudin blanc with peas, ham and barley or onion and cider soup with an upside down Emmenthal soufflé followed by confit lamb shoulder with white beans and preserved lemon with harissa or grilled black bream with vegetable and cockles a la greque topped with coriander oil.
