Just a 2-minute walk from Covent Garden Market, Cote Restaurant serves straight-forward and freshly prepared French food at value for money prices in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Winner of the award for 'Best Value Restaurant in the UK' in the Good Food Guide 2009, the inspiration for the food and design at Cote comes from a modern interpretation of the many famous bistros found throughout Paris. The emphasis at Cote is on simply, reasonably priced dishes and the menu includes steak frites, salad niçoise & moules marinières as well as lighter options including roast sea bass with olive oil mash and a garlic and tomato dressing or salmon hollandaise. Crème caramel and crème brûlée are the house specialities for dessert. Cote is an ideal restaurant for laid-back lunches or dinner with friends, and its fantastic Covent Garden location makes it the perfect location for dinner before or after the theatre. Be warned though, as Cote has been such an instant hit, booking in advance is essential.

I have now become a regular at COTE since discovering it a few months ago. The food is of outstanding quality, as is the overall service. In particular, I have been lucky enough to have the same waiter most times - Atilah - simply the best waiter I have ever had. He takes a real interest in his customers (for example, hurrying along your order if you are heading for the theatre after) and he is just so friendly and helpful and welcoming. He alone makes COTE worth visiting. Just a great place to eat.

Just wanted to say how much we enjoyed our visit to your restaurant yesterday, we felt valued and welcomed by the staff in particular Victoria who waited our table. The food was of a good standard and nicely presented. We eat out a great deal and so often feel ripped off and disappointed with what is on offer and the inattentive staff, but here there was a sense of occasion. You are getting it just right -keep up the good work and you will prosper!

Fantastic value menu du jour. The tables are well spaced, the ceing high which gives a quiet and relaxed ambience. The wines are well- priced, the service great. Why go elsewhare I ask myself?

Cote is a lovely little French restaurant located close the main theatres in Covent Garden. We went there before our trip to see The Lion King and were thrilled with the experience. The food was typically French and of a very high standard. Service was friendly and the prices were very good for this part of London. Best though was the ambience, as Cote really does exude the atmosphere of a typical French brasserie. A lovely restaurant for lunch or dinner, away fromn the toursits.

Cote restaurant in Covent Garden aims to be and is a very typical French Bistro. All the timeless favourites are on the menu along with a sublime wine list. Good value for money and pleasant service makes Cote a great choice if you're planning a trip to the many theatres nearby.
