Mews of Mayfair, bar and restaurant, offers all the privileges of a private institution but none of the pomp & cermony

 

A very recent addition to the burgeoning Mayfair restaurant and bar scene, Mews of Mayfair is a very civilised and upmarket destination restaurant which attracts a wide and varied clientele. The restaurant is located on the first floor, and, in relaxed and comfortable surroundings, serves excellent British influenced food from the a la carte menu, or, for the more daring, there are two diverse and tempting five-course tasting menus, featuring such highlights as an inspired venison Wellington and wonderfully tender and flavoursome sea bass. The restaurant is a sophisticated affair of silk embroidered wallpaper and antique crystal lights. Renowned chef, David Selex oversees a menu of prime British produce whilst the drinks list boasts vintage champagnes, fine wines, deluxe spirits and unique cocktails. Mews of Mayfair may be tucked away, but this fantastic new London restaurant & bar has proved an instant hit with Mayfair locals.

Mews of Mayfair is a spectacular restaurant. Great food, lovely service and wonderful atmosphere. Highly recommended.

I had an excellent meal at Mews of Mayfair. The service was impeccable as was the food. We had the tasting menu which was wonderful, the best lamb I have had in a long while. The manager kindly organised a table for us in the lounge bar after the meal, topped off only by the fact that Eva Green was at the neighbouring table.
