Carom at Meza

CAROM AT MEZA

100 Wardour Street, Soho, London W1F 0TN

Type of cuisine: Indian

Average price: £25.00     Nearest tube: Leicester Square

With a former Benares Chef at the helm, Carom at Meza is D&D’s excellent Indian restaurant in Soho

Located in the heart of Soho, Carom at Meza is D&D’s first Indian restaurant venture in London, and is just the ticket for an indulgent Indian feast. Perfectly placed for pre theatre and post shopping dining as well as the ideal choice for an after work bite to eat, Carom at Meza offers both stylish Indian dining and a lively bar area where expert mixolologists create first class Indian cocktails. Named after an Indian spice, Carom offers a menu that spans India and is based upon the concept of sharing so there are plenty of small tapas like Indian dishes to choose from. Created by former Benares Chef Balaji Balachander, the menu is split into various sections including Clay, Tandoor, Regional, Vegetables, Breads and Rice. Tuck into crisp fried chilli squid tossed in spice mix and served with coriander dip; butter chicken with creamy tomato and fenugreek sauce and Keralan sea bass with curry leaf, mango, coconut and ginger sauce. Carom at Meza is yet another big hit for restaurant group D&D.

Customer reviews for Carom at Meza

We went on a special offer and were pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. The service was also friendly. The restaurant is lovely although a bit quiet in the early evening during the week. It perked up a bit later on. Shall definitely go again. One tip, keep up the good work and don't make the portions too small!

Meza was a fantastic evening, I went on a Saturday night and the atmosphere was amazing. There was a great buzz and everyone was having a great night. The cocktails were delicious and the bar staff were brilliant. Loved it!
