PALM COURT BRASSERIE

39 King Street, Covent Garden, London WC2E 8JS

Type of cuisine: Modern European

Average price: £30.00     Nearest tube: Covent Garden

Palm Court Brasserie Covent Garden is a great place to head before or after a show

Established over 10 years ago and positioned in the heart of Theatreland, Palm Court Brasserie brings a continental feel to Covent Garden. ‘Palms' is popular with locals and attracts residents as well as a loyal business following at lunch and supper times, where they mingle with the pre and post theatre crowd. The menu is a carefully chosen selection of French-Mediterranean fare with daily specials that embody the Brasserie values of good food, simply cooked and fairly priced. Starters include bruschetta or moules mariniere, while two absolute favourites for mains are Roast rump of lamb basil crust and vegetable ratatouille or the lobster and steamed seabass with mussels, squid and crab saffron fricassée. The wine list is an all-embracing affair, spanning the best vineyards of France and Italy and is complimented by a range of freshly squeezed juices and cocktails. A great restaurant for a relaxed lunch, after work dinner or pre/post theatre dining.

Palm Court Brasserie was a great delight to dine in. A welcome entrance to a quiet romantic atmosphere so different from the busy Covent Garden markets you walk in from. The food was great, and the wine ion was spot on too. Thouroughly recommended for a special occasion

Palm Court Brasserie is our favourite Covent Garden restaurant. The food is always excellent & the restaurant offers fantastic value for money in an area that can sometimes be quite expensive. Here & The Rock Garden nearby, are the best restaurants in the area. We'd recommend both.

Palm Court Brasserie was the perfect choice for dinner before our trip to the theatre to see The Rat Pack. We came accross this restaurant here on Best London Restaurants, and the review was spot on. Great food, well priced and very good service. Palm Court is a gem of a find in Covent Garden and one which we'll definitely be returning to on our next visit.
