A long running favourite in Soho, Pierre Victoire offers superb rustic French food at very reasonable prices

 

Pierre Victoire has been a long standing favourite restaurant in London’s Soho for almost a decade, offering first class French rustic cuisine in cosy bistro style surroundings. Nestled along Dean Street in the heart of Soho, Pierre Victoire is the perfect spot for a delightful pre theatre meal or business lunch. The dining room is a wonderfully authentic French bistro with whitewashed walls, wooden floorboards and chalkboard menus. Wine bottles stuffed with candles perch in the wooden tables and cool Art Nouveau prints adorn the walls. You might just catch the resident pianist in action in the evenings, always creating a great atmosphere. The prix fixe menus are always good value for money at Pierre Victoire, a popular choice for pre show dinners and romantic soirées for two but the a la carte offers great dishes at reasonable prices too. The steak frites is the signature dish and is spot on and there are plenty of other great dishes to choose from. Pierre Victoire boasts a long list of loyal regulars, the real testament to the excellent quality of this great little Soho bistro.

I had dinner here last night with my husband and it was so good I felt compelled to send in this review. The ambience is just as you'd find in a small bistro in Paris, and the food matches all expectations too... very high quality, cooked to perfection and very reasonably priced. I don't think you'll find a better restaurant in the West End for food, atmosphere and price. Could not be faulted.
