The food at Sartoria Restaurant is fantastic, with Michelin starred Giorgio Locatelli's former right-hand man as the head chef. The restaurant's cooking, a mélange of traditional simple Italian dishes and modern influences, are made with the freshest seasonal ingredients, concentrating on sourcing from Italian artisan importers and regional producers. Sartoria's menu features dishes, such as pumpkin & cep mushroom soup with pecorino cheese & toasted bread, chargrilled tuna with black eye beans salad, fresh spaghetti with red mullet & marjoram , chargrilled lamb fillet with aubergine caponata & mirtil sauce, baked figs with red wine sauce & vanilla ice cream. Had dinner at Sartoria last night and I found the staff attentive but not intrusive, the food lovely and the ambience great with everyone seeming to be enjoying themselves. The restaurant itself is beautiful and I look forward to comming again!
