Sitaaray (stars in Hindi) Restaurant celebrates the joie de vivre and chutzpah of popular Indian culture to create one of the coolest Indian eateries and probably the only full fledged Indian Kebab (Grill) restaurant in the UK of which there are currently over 9,000. An amalgamation of two of India's best exports – its cuisine and its cinema. Sitaaray pays homage to Bollywood in real style: its glitzy red & gold walls are lined with portraits of the stars, flat-screen TVs show back-to-back Indian films, while a soundtrack of big movie hits plays in the background. And the food offering is different from the run of the mill curry-house norm, too. Lunch is served with a large choice of Indian favourites in a sharing platter format, whilst dinner at Sitaaray is £18 per person based on an 'eat as much as you like' theory. And eat you can!! From delicious dosas, tandoor specials, kebabs (which are the speciality of the house) to mouthwatering curries & plenty of choice for vegetarians, Sitaaray is definitely a restaurant blockbuster. Sitaaray is so Indian in every sense of the word. The food, its spirit and more…felt like I am being transported to India every now and then. Very good food especially the lunch platter that we ordered was such a sumptuous meal and worth all the money. Thumbs-up for the decor, the reds and golden lend the Bollywood splendor to a routine dining.

Sitaaray is a great new restaurant in Covent Garden and the unlimited kebab & curry deal is excellent. We had a great meal at Sitaaray and will definitely return soon. Great Indian food & friendly service.
